The role
We're looking for principal software engineers who love crafting beautiful, seamless user experiences and solving hard technical problems. Experience as a founding engineer or early team member taking a startup from 0 to 1 is highly desirable, along with resourcefulness, resilience and a willingness to wear many hats.
What you'll do
- Architect, design and build full-stack solutions to complex business needs.
- Lead data and machine learning work that improves the user experience.
- Design secure, robust and scalable APIs for data flow and third-party integrations.
- Work with product, design and engineering to build features that matter.
- Drive the technical roadmap and set standards for design, code, testing and production readiness.
- Own the performance and reliability of what you build.
- Mentor and grow a team of engineers.
What you bring
- Expertise in mobile architecture patterns (MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Deep knowledge of mobile performance, security and user experience.
- On-device machine learning with TensorFlow Lite or Core ML.
- Modern CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, cloud-native and microservice architecture.
- Event-driven, real-time systems and streaming such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- SQL, NoSQL and in-memory data stores.
- Test-driven development and sound engineering principles.
- Curiosity, strong collaboration, and a passion for mentoring.
